Sorry for the title as I couldn’t come up with anything.

A friend asked me to come up with a certain look and teach her how to do it, so here’s my sad attempt at it.

First open up your image. I’ll use this one of my cousins playing around

Next create a new layer and paste a film grain texture over it. I got mine here.

Adjust the opacity to 10% or adjust it according to your liking.

Add a curves layer, go to the blue channel and adjust it like so. 

Create a Hue and Saturation layer

Click the colorize button and adjust the tones to come up with a 2 tone sepia like this 

Adjust the opacity from either 10-30%

Create an exposure layer and set the Offset value to around +0.0099 to add a small haze

Add another Hue/Saturation layer and set Saturation to -10

Add a vignette and 

Voila!

Adjust the settings as you see fit and find the one that fits your own style :)
